First Chapel of the New Semester

First Chapel of the New Semester

We have just begun the fall 2013 semester at BBC and are grateful for a good enrollment.  Happy sounds of excitement and fellowship are again echoing in the classrooms, cafeteria, canteen and halls.  We look forward to this time of fresh starts and we pray for God’s grace and anointing to be upon us.

Our students enroll in several programs:  BA in Biblical Studies, MA in Christian Ministry, and certificates in Mass Media and Tour Guiding.  We also have extension branches in Nazareth and Gaza.   We thank God for the great opportunity we have to serve our students and to impact their lives with the good news of the Gospel!

Today’s chapel was special as President Jack Sara welcomed back different members of the faculty, staff and volunteers, introducing them to the students. It was the first chapel of the new semester.

To set the tone for the New Year, Dean of Students, Rev. Alex Awad, spoke on Jesus’ parables of pairs:  “the Wise Man and Foolish Man”, “the Publican and the Pharisee”, and the “Father Who Asked His Sons to Work in His Vineyard”.  He tried to encourage the students to be faithful in building a good foundation, in having a right spirit of worship, and in being faithful in ministry.
