Recently, Rev. Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffe, Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance, made this challenge to Evangelicals around the world:

We want to say loudly that we evangelicals want to be on the forefront of peacebuilding. All the easy jobs have been done. It’s just the tough ones that are left. It requires clear vision to face these challenges.

We are pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffewill be one of our keynote speakers at Christ at the Checkpoint conference in 2014. He will join a host of local and international Evangelical leaders to together seek to think biblically about the conflicts in our land and how to engage in peacebuilding in this part of the world.

The theme of the conference will be “Your Kingdom Come”, which is based on the Lord’s prayer. The mission of our conference is to Challenge Evangelicals To Take Responsibility To Help Resolve the Conflicts in Israel-Palestine By Engaging With the Teaching of Jesus on the Kingdom of God.

Rev. Dr. Jack Sara, president of Bethlehem Bible College says:

Nowadays, the middle east is like never before, considering the aftermath of what is so called the Arab Spring and the increasing turmoil that the region is going through, its a must to understand even deeper the purposes of God for the middle east and in particular what is the purpose and function of the Kingdom of God in the Holy Land? and how Christians from around the globe with their understanding, prayers and active involvement could advance the Kingdom in our region.

I wholeheartedly invite you to come and attend with us Christ at the Checkpoint 3, Your Kingdom Come and I assure you after the conference, you life and perspectives will never be the same.
