BBC Library Event: Reading for All

The BBC library buzzed with excitement during a gala event that marked an energetic beginning to the Reading for All campaign and book sale. The campaign is designed to promote literacy and to introduce the BBC community and the public to the resources available. Those in attendance heard a speech from the mayor of Beit Jala, Dr. Nael Salman and were treated to a stunning version of Amazing Grace played on the violin by Susie Koh. Librarian, Hala Ghnaiem graciously welcomed dignitaires and guests and invited everyone to browse the library material. Coffee, tea and treats were served. Thank you to everyone who helped with this event!
