Bethlehem Bible College Starts a New School Year

On September 9th, Bethlehem Bible College opened its doors to usher in the beginning of a new school year.  Joyful sounds of laughter, chatting and bantering were heard and felt on campus as new and returning students attended the first chapel of the year held in the Bishara Awad Student Center. The chapel program was officiated by Rev. Alex Awad, former Dean of Students, and Mrs. Shireen Hilal, incoming Dean of Students, who welcomed the students and wished them a blessed school year.

A special and uplifting time of praise and worship was led by Dr. Munther Isaac who played the guitar while being accompanied by Brother Daniel Aqleh on the piano. Dr. Bishara Awad, founder of the BBC, spoke about the history of the college and its foundation through which he witnessed about the Lord’s provision and grace in every step of the college’s establishment.  Rev. Alex Awad then introduced all of the faculty and staff and the students according to their class levels.  Following this, Dr. Munther Isaac presented some academic instructions that the students need to be aware of, while Shireen Hilal, the new Dean of Students, provided essential guidelines of ethics and behavior that students should adhere to during their time at the college.

After the chapel, the faculty, staff and students were invited to a tea break where they were treated to chocolate éclairs and enjoyed fellowship together.
