‘Why does the college exist?’ asked President Rev. Jack Sara to an attentive audience of 33 members of administration, faculty, staff and student body that joined last Friday’s Capacity Building meeting at Bethlehem Bible College.

Mrs. Shireen Hilal was the chief facilitator for the meeting.  The meeting began with fun activities that focused on team building.  Unity, cooperation, communication and attention to detail were important to success in these activities, just as these characteristics are important in the workplace in order to bring about a desired goal or result.

Following the team building activities, Rev. Alex Awad shared a devotional reading from Ephesians 4: 1-13, a text which focuses on our calling to God and each other.   He shared how it is important to live that calling in a Biblical way in unity of the spirit and in using our gifts for the edification of the entire body.

Finally, President Jack Sara addressed the group on the responsibilities the members of Bethlehem Bible college have as servants and ministers, emphasizing that each individual’s role is much more than a job or employment.  ‘We are a team and each of us needs to know who we are and be aware of our mission, goals and structure.  Each of us needs to know our responsibilities. The college is searching for people who serve from the heart’ said President Jack Sara as he concluded the fruitful capacity building session.
