Partnership: North Park Theological Seminary and Bethlehem Bible College
This summer has held many noteworthy occasions, but perhaps one that stands out to Bethlehem Bible College is a new partnership with North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.
In hopes of fostering enhanced learning opportunities and reaching the potential for greater impact in these respective communities, a memorandum of understanding has been signed by Rev. Dr. Jack Sara and the leadership at North Park. After discussions of moving forward in partnership, we are pleased to announce this exciting new formation. This understanding will allow for further development for both students as well as staff and faculty members to participate in each institution’s classes, seminars and symposiums. Exchanges of this kind are especially fruitful as they allow for cross-cultural experiences in addition to the academic side of learning.
The agreement was signed June 24, 2017 and is in effect from July 1, 2017 until June 30, 2020. We, at BethBC, are encouraged and excited by this new partnership. We remain thankful for the graciousness of the Lord in opening up these doors for working with other institutions. As this agreement continues to come to fruition, you can expect to hear more about the impact of this exciting new endeavor! In the meantime, the following link will provide more context to the agreement.
Kamila is volunteering full-time with Bethlehem Bible College in the Communications Department. In addition to her love for writing and sharing stories, her endeavors in Bethlehem and greater Palestine involve facilitating cultural immersion programs for young adults from North America to see first-hand the realities that those living here encounter. At times deemed the “eternal optimist,” Kamila holds fast to the future hope of restoration and reconciliation of all things back to God. When she’s not writing, or organizing trips, you’ll catch her training and competing with the Ultimate Palestine frisbee team.
