Honoring Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac’s Legacy as Bethlehem Bible College Welcomes New Academic Dean

At Bethlehem Bible College, we recently celebrated the recognition of Dr. Yousef AlKhouri as the new Academic Dean, succeeding Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac. This transition marks an important moment in the college’s history, as we reflect on the remarkable contributions of Dr. Isaac and look ahead to a new chapter under Dr. AlKhouri’s leadership.

Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac served as Academic Dean with passion, dedication, and a deep commitment to theological education. Under his leadership, the college strengthened its academic programs, expanded its partnerships, and deepened its engagement with pressing theological and social issues. His influence has shaped countless students and faculty, leaving a lasting impact on Bethlehem Bible College.

Dr. Yousef AlKhouri, stepping into this esteemed role, expressed his gratitude and respect for the leaders who have gone before him. “I stand on the foundation laid by visionary leaders with great hearts to serve God and His people, such as Dr. Bishara Awad, Prof. Salim Munayer, Rev. Dr. Yohanna Katanacho, Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac, and Rev. Dr. Jack Sara,” he remarked.

Rev. Dr. Jack Sara, President of the College, also spoke with enthusiasm about the appointment: “I am filled with joy to appoint Dr. Yousef as the new Academic Dean of Bethlehem Bible College. His deep commitment to theological education, passion for equipping future leaders, and strong academic background make him the right person for this role. I am confident that under his leadership, the college will continue to thrive as a center of biblical learning and spiritual formation.”

Even as we celebrate Dr. AlKhouri’s appointment, we also honor Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac’s continued journey. Now serving as the Director of the Bethlehem Institute of Peace and Justice, he leads crucial advocacy initiatives, spearheads the Christ at the Checkpoint conference, and engages in global dialogue on Palestinian theology. His leadership in these areas has already made a profound impact, and we look forward to seeing his influence grow even further in this new capacity.
