The Professional Diploma in Psychological Counseling aims to provide adequate support to the Palestinian community during times of crisis. These efforts seek to make a structured and effective contribution to the recovery process from the traumas caused by various life crises and stressors.
Unfortunately, Palestinians are exposed to traumatic experiences daily. For healing to take place, counselors need to be equipped with the necessary tools to help them address the diverse issues present in the community. The counseling program represents a long-term strategy to deal with these challenges. With the help of trained counselors, efforts can be unified to alleviate the needs of the community by offering timely assistance to those suffering from severe psychological trauma.

The aim is to educate and prepare individuals and groups to provide culturally sensitive counseling for those in need within the Arab Palestinian context. We seek to develop our students through the following:

Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent, with a certified copy submitted.

A personal interview to assess the applicant’s motivation, professional values, and personal competencies.
