Pray for blessing and steadfastness for Palestinian Mothers during this Mother’s Day month! Sadly, the country was under lockdown, and we had to celebrate our mothers (who deserve so much!) in unusual and unsatisfying conditions.

Give thanks for a new spring season and new life in Jesus as we celebrate Easter – Resurrection Day – the day when we truly gained life. Let us praise God for His priceless gift for us!

Pray that the Lord will provide financial recovery for all Palestinians, as the whole area is going through financial depression. Palestine is mostly dependent on tourism, and all hotels, restaurants, and souvenir stores are closed, leaving 60% of our people unemployed.

Pray for health for all Palestinians, and for the vaccine to be made available quickly, as hospitals are over-occupied and only a small percentage of people (mostly healthcare workers) have received the vaccine.

Last week was not easy at all for our family. Five members of our staff lost loved ones for corona and other diseases. Our Academic Dean, Munther Isaac, and his sister Mona, a Board member, lost their mother for corona. Haytham, head of the Tour Guiding Department, lost his grandmother, also for corona. Noura from the Shepherd Society team lost her aunt, and Jihad, the Facility manager, lost his aunt. Please keep our family and their families in your prayers. May the Lord comfort their hearts and give them patience.

Pray for the leadership of Bethlehem Bible College to navigate this difficult season with grace and wisdom, and for our students, faculty, staff, and families to heal and remain healthy.
