New Vision Media Centre Launches New Episodes to be Podcast on Ma’an Mix Satellite Channel

New Vision Media Centre, in cooperation with Mix Satellite Channel, will continue through October with the talk shows named “Democratic Family Values and Structure within Palestine”. This is funded by the Swedish government. We are scheduling 66 shows to be produced in the next three years.

The centre has produced and transmitted 14 shows on Mix TV during Ramadan. Various subjects have been tackled, such as: “Women, Between Norms and Laws”, “Poverty in Palestine”, “Proper Nutrition for Children”, “Freedom of Expression for Children”, “Autism”, “Social Security”, “Family Cooperation”, “The Pros and Cons of Technology”, “The High Costs of Marriage”, “Academic Specialization, Between the Desire of Parents and the Ambition of Children”, “Palestinian Elderly, Between Need and Dignity”, “Children Prisoners”, and “Harmonizing the Persons with Disabilities”. New shows will be transmitted this month, where one show is scheduled to be transmitted every two weeks, and repeated in the week after.

The recording of these talk shows is done in the Studio of New Vision Media Centre. Our goal is to deal with issues that affect children and families, aiming to raise their awareness of their rights in the society in order to establish those rights. In each show, we host one or two guests of honor, such as officials and decision-makers, to discuss the raised issues. We also have an audience of target groups, who are presented with the chance to ask questions and participate.

All shows have been uploaded on the website; so you can watch them by visiting: http://www.bethlehem-nvmc.com or by visiting our Facebook Group. We will also upload all the other shows on the website after they have been broadcasted on Mix TV first.
