Messages of Hope from Ireland & Germany

Messages of Hope from Ireland & Germany

During chapel on Thursday we heard from two guest speakers. Weaving together photos and stories, Tim Doak, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, drew comparisons between the conflict in his country and the one in the West Bank. He spoke of the violence and the wall in Ireland, and offered the encouragement that there is hope and possibility of change. Sylvia Bukowski who has been a pastor in Wuppertal, Germany for 35 years, used Psalm 23 to present thoughtful reflection about God’s presence and relevance in the realities of our lives.
