New Volunteer at BBC Library

Kara Buhler is pleased to be volunteering in the library at BBC. She is here with her husband Jerry and her youngest daughter, Laura. The Buhlers live in the city of Saskatoon, which is in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. They feel very privileged to have this opportunity to spend time in beautiful Palestine. Jerry is the Area Church Minister in Mennonite Church Saskatchewan and is on sabbatical. He helps with some writing, driving and cleaning. Laura has two older sisters and two older brothers, Maria, Jessica, Clay and Josiah. Laura graduated from high school in June, 2013. She is helping with some secretarial tasks at the Shepherds Society. The Buhlers represent a Mennonite denomination and part of their mandate is to pass on Palestinian stories to their constituency in Canada. These stories are about the vitality of the Christian church in Palestine, the important work of BBC, and the robust hope that is evident in this land.
