Tragedy and Hope for Syrian Refugees in Jordan

Tragedy and Hope for Syrian Refugees in Jordan

Tuesday, February 25, 2014 — This morning in chapel Reverend Alex Awad shared about the most recent missions trip to help the Syrian refugees in Jordan. He shared touching pictures and stories from the BBC and the Sheppard Society’s fourth trip to help these Syrian refugees. George Abdu, Deputy Director of the Sheppard Society and Dr. Palmer Baker assisted Rev. Awad in the presentation, sharing stories and memories from their time. Dr. Palmer shared with the students some of the tragic stories of families and children whose lives have been affected by the conflict. Rev. Awad hopes that early in June BBC will send another team to minister to the refugees scattered in Jordan. We urge you to lift up this ministry in your prayers and to be praying for a quick end to the political turmoil in Syria.
