Despite the horror of the war in Gaza and the loss of innocent lives there, Bethlehem Bible College students are bringing the hope of Jesus to some of the most vulnerable in Palestine.  Led by Vice Academic Dean and Head of Students Affairs Gabriel Hanna and Instructor Karen Bush, students sang hymns of praise, read Scriptures, and prayed for the elderly in St. Nicholas Retirement Home in Beit Jala near Bethlehem on October 31.  The students began their ministry by mingling and introducing themselves individually to each resident. Then everyone had joy clapping and singing familiar praise songs. The presentation ended with singing the Lord’s Prayer.

The Director of the retirement community, Nizar Ajar, expressed his appreciation for the meaningful time that lifted each resident. As one student, Marisol, said, “We will come back!”
