Azad Kosa: Online Diploma in Biblical Studies Student Testimony

Azad is enrolled in the Online Diploma in Biblical Studies alongside other Arab students living all around the world.

We have been able to recruit 60 students into this program. Our students are from different nationalities and are distributed all across the world. This infographic shows our students’ geographical distribution.

Azad Kosa is 33 years old, and he is from an Arab country. He lives in Germany with his wife where he attends and participates in services in an Arabic church. Ten years ago, he accepted Christ as his Savior.

“That moment has changed my life, and during this time, I‘ve experienced many healing miracles in my life. Today, while I was in the church, I heard a church member saying, ‘In a few weeks, the new semester of the Online Diploma of Biblical Studies at Bethlehem Bible College will start.’  I immediately I headed to the church pastor inquiring about the program, and I told him about my passion to join the program to study the Word of God. After joining the program, I can say that it has met my desires and passion. I’m studying the Scripture in depth and taking courses that allow me to enhance my practical ministry and spirituality. There is an interesting combination between the high academic level of courses and the richness of the program’s spiritual aspect, where we meet through courses on one side and discussions and prayers on the other side.”

Azad continues, “I can confidently say it is an amazing program that allows pastors, lay church leaders, and believers to build many essential skills regarding faith and ministry. The program bestowed a new eye to the world, God, and to myself. In fact, I became more of a man of prayer.”

The challenges Azad faces are how to live in this world but different from it, as well as how to preach Christ in his context and environment with a strong faith, self-trust, and no fear. Through the program, he’s learning how to face his challenges.

Our students are influencing the church globally through their ministries. Their ministries vary from Sunday school teaching, social media and in-church preaching, outreach to the homeless, youth leading, church planting, Bible study teaching, leading women’s ministries, writing Christian poetry, participating in the church choir, discipleship training and pastoring.

“I encourage

those who read

my story to try and join

and discover

the beauty

of such a program.”
